Killerwhales Swim Club Dominates Chelmsford March Marathon Meet

Over the weekend of 1st and 2nd March, Killerwhales Swim Club travelled to Chelmsford with a squad of over 76 swimmers.

The team returned home with an outstanding haul of medals, securing 74 gold, 61 silver and 44 bronze across a range of events from 50m sprints to 1500m long distance races.

The competition was filled with personal bests, and for many of our younger swimmers, it marked their first experience in a competitive gala. 

Well done to Joshua K and William F, who each set new club records in their respective events.  Joshua broke the record in the 800m freestyle, while William achieved a new record in the 50m freestyle.  These achievements highlight the club’s potential and dedication of its swimmers.

With such impressive performances, Killerwhales Swim Club is in a strong position as they look ahead to the upcoming London Championships.   Well done to all our swimmers!
